Welcome

Applications for 2025 St. Elizabeth “Attic” Thrift Store Grants are now being accepted!

Whether framed by “church” language such as “outreach,” biblical themes of “mercy and compassion,” or the community language of “development,” St. Elizabeth values being part of efforts that strengthen and support Richmond Hill and Bryan County. From each perspective, we are motivated by love: love for God and love for our neighbor. In the Gospels of Christian Scripture (Mt 22, Mk 12, and Lk 10), it is recorded that Jesus turned attention to these two great words of the TORAH:

“Hear, O Israel: The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might” (Dt 6:4-5), and “You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against any of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord” (Lev 19:18).

This year’s focus for the “Attic” grants is children in our community. To that end, we seek to assist local non-profit organizations with modest grants. Below, you will find the grant policy/guidelines and application. Please complete this application and return it to St. Elizabeth Episcopal Church via email (thriftstore@saintelizabethsrh.com), U.S. Mail (16491 Hwy 144, Richmond Hill, GA 31324), or hand-deliver it to the Church office (M, W, F, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.).

St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church is a place for members of the Richmond Hill-area to come together and worship as part of a loving community. We’re always happy to see you and warmly welcome visitors.
